Network Marketing over the last few years has come of age. It is taught in the best colleges and universities as credit courses and people look forward to careers with Network Marketing companies. It used to be you were considered crazy if you left your job for a network marketing "venture" or "opportunity". That's no longer the case. Although the uninformed still criticize and find it funny that people would give up a "supposedly secure" job to start their own business as a network marketer.
Over the past 30+ years hundreds of network marketing companies have come and gone, but the ones that have survived are the real thing. The failures have either been poorly operated, had a poor product, were actually a scam or have been operated by greedy people in it for the fast buck and the ability to buy themselves expensive "toys". Unfortunately for them Network Marketing does not work that way. Network Marketing is business at its best, people helping people is the only way the system can survive successfully.
If you as a network marketer don't duplicate yourself the system doesn't work. You must educate your people (recruits) to be as good or better than you are using the system and you must help them to be successful. Many people in network marketing do better than their mentor (the person who recruited them) because of the mentor's personal training and the use of training systems.
The business must have training sessions and training material for the product or service and they must have sales training and sales help available to everyone.
What is Good Network Marketing?
- There is a legitimate service or product.
- The product or service has been around for years.
- You can make a living selling the product or service.
- You DON'T get paid for recruiting people.
- Recruiting people is an option... It's your choice.
- You get an override on their sales, but only on sales.
- You DON'T have to purchase and maintain an inventory.
- There is service or product training.
- You may be paid for training if you are or become qualified.
- You have to work. Big money doesn't happen overnight.
- It will sound and feel like a business.
